Introducing Fugue Fiction One: The Mystery Dial, the first edition of our new capsule collection “Fugue Fictions”, inspired by literary genres. A tribute to reading, the ideal vehicle for temporal escapes, with, as a first model, our brand new watch inspired by the mystery novel.

The Fiction One puts mystery at the heart of its design by featuring a mystery dial, revealing a surprising way to display the time. Furthermore, the design echoes the increasing complexity in characters and intrigues found in modern fiction by applying a “smoke-screen” pattern on the dial.

We’ve been working in assembling our watches in-house, in Paris, France. The Fiction One embodies Fugue’s design ethos: creating something different without being too extravagant whilst paying tribute to watchmaking heritage.
